Slingshot your way into this adventurous Angry Birds Party. These ideas are the bomb and will keep your guests beaming. There is a little something for everyone. The Angry birds are a unique island community that is bombarded into a stressful circumstance. Your party guests will appreciate the unique activities that make bird island come to life.
Have a cute saying on your invitation like:
Extra Large Slingshot - Create an extra large slingshot to shoot gator balls or a soft type of ball. Set up a set of boxes for the target. Then launch the balls into the target.
Piggy Back Races - Find a partner and do a piggy back style of race. Which pair will be the fastest?
Angry Bird Stress Balls - Make a personal stress ball out of the characters of the Angry Birds. You need a balloon in green, yellow and red, have paints in red, orange, green, black, and red, sand, a black sharpie and funnel. Use the end of an old plastic half of a water bottle and place the balloon on the end. Stick the funnel inside of the water bottle and balloon. Then you are able to fill the balloon. Push sand down to be able to add more. When you have enough sand for the size and tie the balloon. Cut the top off of the balloon and it can turn into its hair. Use a sharpie marker to add the details like the eyes, eye brows and the beak. Then paint in the additional colors to complete your bird design. I would suggest doing two coats of paint on the balloons. Then each guest will have their own Angry Bird.
Pig Tin Can Toss - Paint tins like the green pigs. You will want ten pig tins. Then you are able to stack them into a pylon. Then each guest gets one red, one black and one yellow bean bag to toss at the set of cans. Try to knock them all over.
Pin the beak on Red - Play in a similar manner as pin the tail on the donkey. Tie guests eyes with a red or green scarf.
Create a team Flag - Divide the guests into groups and have them create and paint a team flag. Possible suggestions is how the pigs vs birds have their different distinctions and flags.
Angry Egg Hunt - Use Easter eggs and hot glue a ribbon around them and add a sticker of an angry bird character. I think the hatchlings would look really cute. Inside of the egg hide a little candy egg. Hide the eggs and have the guests try to rescue them from Piggy Island.
Painted Rocks - Paint rocks to look like the angry birds. This can either be a party activity or it can be done beforehand to be used for checkers, bingo, or an assortment of other games.
Calm yourself Yoga - Namaste and find your inner calm bird with these bird poses: wing stretch, dancer pose, etc. While doing your yoga poses, strap on your egg and make sure it is safe with all your moves.
Dance Off, Pig Latin Off and Poetry Off - Show off your talents with a backdrop of green streamers to represent the green lasers, a disco ball, and a microphone.
Manicures and Pedicures - Because you are worth it. Carete each nail to be a color of the birds or use the colors of the hatchlings.
Mighty Eagle Strength Challenge - Run an obstacle course wish carrying the hatchlings. Have buckets of water balloons that need to be transported to safety. The first one to rescue so many hatchlings wins.
Paint Your Pain - Set up a painting station with canvases and an assortment of colored paints and paintbrushes and tools. Let your guests paint an angry bird or paint their pain just like Red, Chuck and Bomb do at their anger management class.
Angry Photo Booth - Use the boxes of tnt as your backdrop and have an assortment of leis, cowboy hats, chaps, cowboy boots, bird masks, and stuffed Angry bird characters along with word props.
Jump Off - Have one mini exercise trampoline per guest. See who can jump for the longest time without stopping.
Toss the Plunger - Set up multiple hula hoops to represent different points or use spray paint on your grass and create a bullseye. The guests stand behind a certain start line. Then they toss the plunger to try to secure the most points.
Bird Battle Cry - Who can come up with the most unique bird battle cry.
Up, Up and Away - Make paddles that look like the angry birds out of paper plates and rulers. Then try to teach the birds to fly and try in the air by hitting the balloons up into the air with their personal paddle.
Pig Pop - Hang up a number of pig green balloons that have a funny pig Latin saying or a prize inside. Have the guests toss a dart to pop the balloon.
Parachute Drop - Make a parachute and drip your bird over a railing. Will your bird land safely? I hope they have a smooth landing.
Angry Bird Movie or Video Game - Play and watch in your own individual nests. Create a nest out of a cardboard box. Make sure you add some comforts like a small pillow and blanket inside.
Set up your food station to look like a luau. Have an assortment of pineapples, mini umbrellas, flower leis, etc.
Angry Pizza - Make some home made pizzas that resemble the guests favorite birds.
