Science experiments that involve water, fire

Clod’s Green Thumb - Plant a tree, arrange flowers, plant some vegetable plants. Help our environment and have fun in the process.

Water Relay - have two buckets of water for each guest, They need to run and collect water and carry it over to another water filling bucket. Have little boats in the bucket. When the water is overflowing the boats will freely float out of the bucket.

Lava Java Baking class - bake some of your traditional foods and treats with your guests. They will love making the creations.

Blowing bubbles - have lots of wands and plates of bubble mixture available. If you wish to make your own you can create unpoppable bubbles. They are really fun for younger guests that want to catch the bubbles.

Have a campfire - roast marshmallows and make smores. Your guests will love it. If you are nervous about your guests and fire, make the smores in your oven. You need graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. I often use the chocolate graham cookies and place a marshmallow in the middle. That way you get a good coating of chocolate in each bite.

Make designs with sparklers. Make sure you go over safety concerns beforehand.

If it is the winter then you can make frozen maple sugar on a stick.

Matchmaking / fortune telling - do a reading for fun with your guests.
